Synopsis

"Brothers" tells the powerful story of two siblings, 30-something Captain Sam Cahill and younger brother Tommy Cahill, who are polar opposites.When his Black Hawk helicopter is shot down in the mountains Sam is presumed dead and the Cahill family suddenly faces a shocking void. Tommy tries to fill in for his brother by assuming newfound responsibility for himself, Grace, and the children. But, Sam is not dead; he and a fellow soldier have been captured by Taliban fighters. When Sam unexpectedly returns to the States, he grows suspicious of his brother and his wife.

This was not what I expected, but I really liked it. This was not very well hyped, and I think it would have done much better if people understood what it was about.

This movie was a typical war movie showing how people cope after doing service. I found this movie interesting . It's like those type movies you glad he went to go see it and you won't see it again. Now don't get me wrong it was a really good movie: very deep story to it. Lots of sadness.

Not what I expected looked 4 him 2 b crazier but guess they didn't want 2 mess up spiderman's image. Was hoping 4 a better ending with the brothers.

I have been looking forward to see this movie for quite sometime, yet I didn't know what to expect from it. It exeeded all of my expectations and it touched my heart. Tobey Maguire is just great in this move, I have never seen him in better shape. I smell an Oscar nomiation.

Overall, a great story and great actors who made this movie feel very real. A beautiful piece of art which should be seen.

This movie was NOT good:( It really wasn't even what my sister and I expected it to be. The wife does NOT form a "love" relationship with the brother, maybe a good friendship but that's all. All they do is kiss and that's it. The constant use of the "f" word is absolutely ridiculous to me!!! The movie would have gotten the SAME message across WITHOUT using that word SO much. It's a shame I wasted $7.50 seeing this movie. A definite waste of money so DON'T bother seeing Brothers. If you MUST see it though, wait until you can rent it for $1.
