David Goyer Begins Writing 'Batman 3', Could Direct Next 'Ghost Rider'
In
Directors, Writers
Writer/director David Goyer has been, is, and will be an insanely busy man. His writing credit include all three "Blade" films, "Jumper" (which as a side note I happen to be an extra in), "Batman Begins", "The Dark Knight" and penned the now unlikely to ever happen "X-Men Origins: Magneto" script.
As a director Goyer has helmed projects like "The Invisible", "The Unborn" and "Blade 3".
There are reports today that Goyer has stepped away from his ABC sci-Fi show "Flash Forward" in order to start working on the long (at least it FEELS long) awaited third installment of the Christopher Nolan "Batman" franchise.
On top of that, it appears that Nolan is also in consideration to direct the next "Ghost Rider" film. In a recent interview "Ghost Rider" producer Mike De Luca hinted that Goyer could helm the next project:
"I've talked about it with him just because I'm a fan of David's," producer Mike De Luca said just last month. "A lot depends on his schedule and a lot depends on where we are when the script comes in, but I think just for me personally, this is just me speaking not Avi Arad or the studios, I have tremendous respect for David, I always have."
QUESTION: Which of the two options do YOU hope Goyer is working on now? Writing the next Batman film, or working on the next Ghost Rider?
