Experience 'Home Alone' in Real Time From Twitter
In
Family, Industry
Quick, name your favorite Christmas movie from the 1990s! If you answered "Home Alone," we have what is perhaps one of the coolest blends of social technology and movie geekery ever: The Home Alone Twitter Project. Devised by some crafty geniuses at We Are a Nation, HATProject is a real-time telling of the "Home Alone" narrative using Twitter -- the popular micro-blogging social tool.
Starting on December 22 and continuing until Christmas Day, HATProject's Home ALone Twitter list features tweets "in character" from the major and minor characters of John Hughes' 1990 Christmas comedy.

See what Harry and Marv are tweeting while waiting for Kevin to leave his house. See what the family members back in Paris are doing. See what Kevin is doing, while trying to arm his house against the bad guys. All on Twitter. All following the time line set by the film.
It's pretty brilliant and pretty geeky and pretty perfect for the holidays.
You can follow all the action by viewing or subscribing to the HATProject/homealone Twitter list.
