Lucy Punch Joins 'Bad Teacher'

Lucy Punch has been set to star in the black comedy "Bad Teacher," opposite Cameron Diaz reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The pic follows Elizabeth Halsey (Diaz), a foul-mouthed, conniving seventh-grade teacher who pursues a colleague after being dumped by her sugar daddy.

The new romantic interest brings her into conflict with Amy Squirrel (Punch), the school's model teacher.

Original screenplay was written by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg.

Jake Kasdan is directing feature.

Filming starts next month in Los Angeles.
