'Avatar' Heading Back to Theaters This August

If you missed seeing "Avatar" when it was on the big screen last December, you're in luck! 20th Century Fox will be bringing the film back to IMAX 3D screens for a limited two week run, starting August 27, 2010.

The re-release will also include eight minutes of additional footage and will feature some cool new creatures. It'll also be a nice way to sate fans appetites for special edition Blu-ray release reportedly arriving this October.
