'Twilight' Stars Discuss Hopes for 'Breaking Dawn'

 In  Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Actors/Actresses, Sequels

With the success of "New Moon" and "Eclipse" already in post-production, the only book left is the as-of-yet un-greenlit "Breaking Dawn."

Although no official decisions have been made regarding that book (but we cannot imagine that it won't get made), the stars from the "Twilight" series are ready to do whatever it takes to get it made!

MTV spoke with a number of the stars at the premiere last week and all indicated they wanted to be back for the film, whether it's broken up into two parts (as has been rumored) or not.

Nikki Reed said:

"It doesn't matter to me ... if they think that's what's best for the book, and if they don't think they can make it in one, then great. But I don't even know if they're making it."

This is what Kellan Lutz told MTV:

Isn't he dreamy?

OK, back to reality. Would you like to see "Breaking Dawn" as two films or one? Let us know!

Mos DEF 2 movies!!!! 2 much goes on in BD 2 try 2 stuff it n2 1 film: it would suffoc8 & die! There are too many new characters 2 introduce (ppl who hadn't read the bks were confused by the intro of the Quileute characters in NM, & a few were still missing [Leah, Seth, Sally]), too many plots 2 tackle. I think they should handle the wedding, honeymoon, & pregnancy (ending it w/Jake's 1st sight of Renesme) in a Breaking Dawn, part 1. Part 2 should pick up w/that creepy imprinting drama (I still can't get with it), & lead n2 the big battle at the end.

I completely agree, TIGRA220! If the book contains too many new plots and characters, trying to get them all in one film will just be a mess.

Hey you should start up a group for all the Twilight fans out there!

I think it should be 2 movies. Breaking Dawn is a long book and there are two stories going on simultaneously, Bella and her pregnancy and Jake's angst and anger over Bella marrying Edward while still human, as well as his very mixed emotions about her carrying the baby to full term and wanting to kill Renesmee until he sees her and imprints on her. To try to put this in a 2 or even 2 1/2 hour movie will not do justice to the book or the work Stephenie Meyers put in. Harry Potter's last book is being made into two movies, with all the money Summit is making from the movies and merchandising sales they should be able to afford to make the two movies and also afford whoever directs it to fulfill his/her vision and still stay true to the book. Us Twihards would expect no less and I think we have proven that we will do whatever it takes to see the movies, so Summit can't lose. If the actors are willing I think they should do 2 movies.

Totally agree! Definitely 2 movies for Breaking Dawn. There is way to many characters and plots to address in 1 movie. This is the big one, take your time divide it up and go ALL THE WAY WITH IT!

I agree with breaking it up into two movies, but then it means that I have to wait longer to see the final movie, so I'm torn!
